The Plymouth and South Devon Dystonia Support GroupThe Dystonia Support Group launched in Plymouth on January 10th 2009 is set up as the Plymouth and South Devon Dystonia Support Group, one of many Dystonia Society groups across the UK, and now has in excess of 35 members. Until the launch of this group, there was not another one between Bournemouth and Land's End. Similar groups have now been established in Cornwall and Exeter and a new Dystonia Support Group is in the process of being formed in Barnstaple. It really does help to chat to other people with similar problems, whether you need more details or just a friendly chat. Some of us meet up for coffee in Dingles (House of Fraser) in Plymouth, on the corner by the sun dial, the first Friday of each month and this really cheers us up if we feel down sometimes.
